TF2Classic is a classic version of Team Fortress 2 as it was in 2008-2009, with features of its own. The developers focused on classic modes (such as Capture The Flag), brought back removed modes and implemented ideas that Valve abandoned. There are no cosmetics like hats, effects or different models of the same weapon. Read on for the mod's other features.

The idea of the game is pretty simple: monsters attack a tower, and the players have to hold them off. With each wave the monsters get tougher and tougher. For every monster killed and every wave survived you get money, which you spend on weapons, ammo or changing the music. When a player dies, his points are reset to zero, so dying is not a good idea.
In Base Defense you can level up and boost some of your player stats (movement speed, attack damage and so on).

The mod is completely free. You can download it from the official website - http://b-def.16mb.com/, or from its ModDB page.
