The first season, GunGame First Blood, begins on November 1. It will run until December 20 and crown the first champions of our servers.
A season is a competition held over a set period. Players compete in matches and battle for positions on the seasonal leaderboard. Once the season ends, we will finalize the standings, summarize the results, and announce the winners.
The rating system uses OpenSkill, which estimates player skill based on match results and the strength of their opponents. Playing a large number of matches does not guarantee a high ranking: your performance and the opponents you face matter.
The matches you play help the system assess your skill more accurately. Your position on the leaderboard takes into account both your estimated skill and the system's confidence in that estimate, so your early ranking may change significantly as more match data is collected.
