How do I type in Russian in the chat?

Download our game build, which already includes Russian chat support.
Download and install the GoldSRC Unicode patch. The patch may not be compatible with old versions of the game.
You can also download an extension for Half-Life - Rofi Dll, which makes playing much more comfortable.

I downloaded the patch, but messages in Russian do not always appear

For messages to appear, you need to add a punctuation mark (period, comma, bracket, etc.), a Latin character or any digit anywhere in the text.
It is not yet clear what causes this, but it happens on most HL servers. Alternatively, download the extension for Half-Life

If you do not use cheats, delete this file as soon as possible; it is located in the game's root folder. If you do not do this, you will soon get a permanent ban and lose the ability to play on our servers.
