Lately, with all sorts of rumors about Half-Life 3 going around, lots of phishing sites have been popping up on the internet where you can supposedly download the third Half-Life, a game that hasn't even been announced yet. Such sites may look no different from the official Steam website, and visiting them can cost you dearly.
Besides phishing sites, infected game files may well show up on major file hosting services and torrent trackers.
We ask all fans to be more careful and download the game (once it comes out) only from the official website (store.steampowered.com). Keep in mind that phishing site domains can look like the official one and differ by just one letter. When the game is released, every gaming site will report it, ours included.
