Site updates

Over the last few days the site has gained new features for all visitors. You can now suggest maps for the servers. There is now a user rating, and the duel system has been updated.

All site visitors can suggest their maps for the servers. To suggest a map, just click the "Suggest a map" link and choose the map file: it can be an archive with all the required maps or a bsp file. All maps are checked by moderators and become available on the servers once approved. You can also add a comment to the map.

Every user's profile now has a rating, with a maximum value of one hundred points. Rating is awarded for activity on the forum and in the chat, taking part in duels, commenting on news on the site and posting news. Reaching the maximum rating is very hard.

Besides the rating, users now have achievements. They are awarded for certain actions and accomplishments. At the moment the list of achievements is short:
Forum Troll. You need 250 or more posts on the forum.
Chat Monster. You need 500 or more messages in the chat.
Long Service. Given to all users who registered more than a year ago.
Ready to Duel. Given to all users who have set their server nickname and SteamID in their profile. These users can accept duel challenges and challenge other players.
All Filled In. Given to users who have set their server nickname and SteamID and filled in the information about themselves in their profile.
Novice Duelist. You need to win 10 duels.
Amateur Duelist. You need to win 25 duels.
Professional Duelist. Given for 50 duel wins.

The rating is updated every 10 minutes.

User profiles now show forum statistics: the number of posts, the number of threads started and the "thanks" received.
Profiles now also show the user's duel record: the number of wins and losses.
In addition, there have been some design changes, the smileys in the chat and comments have been updated, and links in the chat are now converted automatically.
